Gloucester Academy

Character Education Surve

Dear GA Families

Character Education at Gloucester Academy is at the heart of everything we do at Gloucester Academy and is underpinned by our belief that every student will climb their own personal mountain to the very best University and professions.

Our provision of Character Education is supported by our outstanding staffing body who organise enrichment activities, run Character Education lessons and who drive forward achievement in each House.

Each and every student at Gloucester Academy embodies our core values of ambition, excellence and pride.  This has been evidenced over the past term, where we have been delighted to see our students participating in a wide range of enrichment activities.  Our Science Stars have been creating lava lamps, bird feeders and using forensic techniques to solve mysteries, whilst our Duke of Edinburgh Award Silver participants have led a volunteering visit to support the local community by preparing an afternoon tea and games.  We are very proud of our enrichment offer and look forward to working with the community in order to further expand it.

Furthermore, it was fantastic to see Warwick House work together to win the House Trophy in Unit 1 as we work our way towards the end of Unit 2, we are delighted to see our students working hard in lessons to gain points towards the coveted Unit 2 trophy and we look forward to seeing the results of House sporting competitions, House Chess and House Maths Challenge.

We are looking to reflect and further develop the provision of Character Education for our students, and would be grateful if you would take the time to complete this short survey here by Friday 6th May 2022.

Yours sincerely
