Dear GA families

At Gloucester Academy, we encourage our students to work hard and be kind, every second of every day to ensure they receive the very best education to enable them to climb their own personal mountain.  It is important to recognise what incredible achievements our students have made alongside showing ambition and pride in everything that they do here at Gloucester Academy.

To reward our students for their hard work, we are delighted to announce our range of rewards on offer in this unit.  Students will individually receive invites to each reward based on either their point totals or their attendance.  We hope to see students striving in and out of lesson points over the coming weeks to earn their badges. If your child has achieved any of their achievement badges they will be invited to take part in these rewards events.

Bronze Reward

For Bronze Badge holders a ‘House Party’ will be held on 9th December 2022 during period 4 and 5. The ‘House Party’ will be an opportunity for students to engage in a cinema experience with their House (tutor group) and be granted funds to purchase refreshments as a group.

Silver Reward

For Silver Badge holders a Gingerbread House Decorating Session will be held on 9th December 2022 during period 3.  This session will be led by two expert members of staff and be an opportunity for students to get creative and most importantly have fun!

Attendance Reward Year 7 to Year 11

For Year 7 to Year 11 students with 100% attendance we are delighted to be taking them to see a pantomime performance at a local theatre after school on 8th December 2022.  This activity will be a fantastic cultural experience where students will enjoy a production of Dick Whittington and his cat.
