May School: 30th May - 1st June 2022
Dear Parents and Carers of the Class of 2022
Nearly there, thanks for your support for your child. They may not always say it but they and us are extremely grateful for your continued support to get your child to the best University and professions.
May School: 30th May - 1st June 2022
It is time for our last ‘holiday school’ with Year 11s: ‘May School’ starts next week!
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, we have prepared a series of sessions for all students designed to support and prepare them for their final ascent into their last GCSE examinations.
We expect all Year 11 students to attend these sessions. If they do not take a particular subject, a ‘Supported Study’ session will be available with past papers, revision guides and resources.
On Thursday and Friday students have been provided with online work for English and Maths.
Key information, students:
- will sign in at main reception
- will be given free drinks, fruit and breakfast bars during the day as well as lunch and other snacks
- should bring a water bottle and any other snacks they may need as the kitchens will not be open
- are not expected to wear their school uniform and may wear sensible clothing suited to learning
- must bring their normal equipment with them
- are expected to uphold the school rules whilst on site
We very much look forward to seeing our students working hard and preparing for their final climb with us at May School. Thank you for all your support. It will be a fantastic week.
Yours sincerely
Mrs V Pearce
Assistant Headteacher - Raising Standards Lead
