At GA we want to believe that your child is entitled to the best start to their secondary school career. Once you have applied to the school and your child has been allocated a place, we will invite them to attend two days in the Summer holidays (August).

Day 1 will be a day enriched with sport, last year we had sessions from local rugby teams, netball teams and Gloucester Cricket. Sport will give our newcomers to the school a rich and varied day of different activities and the day is free and will include refreshments and lunch. 

Day 2 is spent in school, with lessons which will allow our children to understand our expectations and routines as well as a chance to explore the school before their first day. Students will have a school lunch provided and at the end of the day, we will celebrate their achievements!

Last year was a great success, and we can't wait to meet our new year 7 students.
