Year 7-11 Covid-19 Vaccinations – Friday 17th December 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

NHS nurses will be in school on Friday 17th December 2021 to administer the Covid-19 vaccine to students in years 7-11 who are 12 years old or older on 17th December 2021.  You will need to give your consent in order for your child to receive the vaccination.  The NHS consent letter will be emailed to you on 6th December 2021.  The deadline for the consent is 16th December 2021.  You can also give your consent over the telephone by calling the NHS number provided on the form.

After vaccination, students will spend fifteen minutes in a supervised recovery area to ensure they are safe and feel well enough to return to lessons.  The NHS nurses will be available to advise if a student has an adverse reaction to the vaccination.

Please respond to the NHS consent letter when you receive it.  Students will not be able to receive the vaccine without your consent.
